How data gets into and out of Perspio.
Connectors are how data gets into and out of Perspio. Perspio builds and maintains every integration. An administrator enables a connector in the web app, usually by entering credentials for the other system, and data starts flowing.

Pull and push
| Connection | How it works |

| Pull | Perspio calls the other system on a schedule and collects anything new. Most ingress and data connectors work this way. |
| Push | The other system sends data to Perspio as it happens. Push ingress connectors and webhook connectors work this way. |
Timing depends on the other systemHow often new data is available varies by vendor. Some make it available every minute, others every 15 minutes, some once a day.
